The location of this accommodation was excellent, really in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations for nearby attractions. We also enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, which had everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay.
The lack of clear signage in the area, making it a bit challenging to find the accommodation without assistance. the immediate access to the house was a bit difficult, as there were no steps.

Damp and musty smell in the stairwell and master bedroom bathroom. The shower was small and not suitable for larger individuals.

The location of Carlos' house adjacent to the medieval wall of Obidos is perfect for exploring the town. the house is in good shape with nice decorations and basic utilities. the host is responsive and provides fresh bread, croissants, and a bottle of Vinho verde. the bedrooms have old oak furniture and many historic features. a wonderful and unique place to stay in Obidos.
Felt welcomed into the family, nothing to complain about.

I couldn't have asked for more value for my money at Casa Do Castelo. The room was cozy and well-furnished, and the location right next to the medieval town wall was very nice. Carlos, the owner, treated us like family and gave us great tips for exploring.
One thing that could have made the morning meal even better is if there were more variety in the breakfast options.
